Ascension Wharf provides a content distribution and brand growth service. This includes:

Editing and repurposing long-form content into short-form clips.
Publishing content to connected social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, Snapchat) on your behalf using authorised API access.
Performance analytics and strategy reporting.

2. Account Access and Authorization

To use our posting services, you must authorize Ascension Wharf to access your social media accounts via OAuth. By granting this access, you confirm that:

You own or have the legal right to use the accounts you connect.
You authorize us to publish content, retrieve performance data, and manage posts on your behalf.
You can revoke access at any time through the respective platform's settings.

3. Content Ownership

You retain full ownership of all content you provide to us. By providing content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process, edit, and distribute that content solely for the purpose of delivering the services you have requested.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use our services to:

Post content that violates any platform's terms of service or community guidelines.
Distribute content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or infringes on third-party intellectual property rights.
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or those of connected platforms.
Use our services for spam, misleading advertising, or any fraudulent activity.

5. TikTok API Usage

Our service uses the TikTok Content Posting API to publish video content on your behalf. Use of TikTok features through our service is subject to TikTok's own Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. We operate in compliance with TikTok's API developer policies at all times.

6. Payment and Refunds

Service fees are agreed upon individually with each client prior to onboarding. All payments are subject to the specific agreement between Ascension Wharf and the client. We offer a performance guarantee as described in individual service agreements.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ascension Wharf shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services or the actions of third-party platforms. Our total liability shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the three months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

Either party may terminate the service agreement at any time with written notice. Upon termination, we will revoke access to all connected accounts and delete any stored credentials. You may also revoke our access at any time through your social media account settings.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of our services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will notify you of material changes via email or prominent notice on our website.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation, or if necessary, through the courts of the applicable jurisdiction.
